Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, the latest expansion for Square Enix’s popular MMORPG, will be released on July 2, 2024 (after an early access period beginning on June 28), and now a new launch trailer hints at the story that awaits the Warrior of Light and company as they explore new realms and uncover new mysteries.
Set in the New World, Tural, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail follows the adventures of the Warrior of Light and the Scions as they become involved in the succession of a foreign dynasty. The level cap in the game will be raised to 100, and two new DPS jobs (Viper and Pictomancer, respectively) will be added. A graphics update and new systems are also in-development, and the free trial version of Final Fantasy XIV has been updated to include the Stormblood expansion. The game is now also available on X-Box systems.
