Pokémon Horizons: The Series is preparing to challenge the Paldea Elite Four! To celebrate the occasion, two new art pieces have been revealed, drawn by artists from the Pokémon trading card game.
Check out these celebratory pieces, depicting Liko and Roy stepping up to their new challengers. The first is drawn by Sanosuke Sakuma, and the second is by Akira Komayama:
The celebrations continue at Pokémon Centers across Japan and online, where shoppers will receive a postcard-style Elite Four flyer when shopping between June 21 and July 5. Additionally, Elite Four standees will be displayed at select Pokémon Centers.
The newest Pokémon anime, titled Pokémon Horizons: The Series in the West, features the first new protagonists in the history of the franchise and started in Japan on April 14, 2023, with Saori Den directing at OLM.
The series premiered in English in the UK in December 2023 on BBC iPlayer and in North America on Netflix on March 7, 2024, with the first 12 episodes. No date for the next batch has been confirmed.
