Ahead of a July 7 premiere, the upcoming Wistoria: Wand and Sword anime today unveiled an action visual for Julius Reinberg, a talented student and ice magic specialist voiced by Tetsuya Kakihara (Natsu in Fairy Tail).

Based on the manga by Fujino Omori and Toshi Aoi, Wistoria: Wand and Sword is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara (Black Clover), who also serves as series composer, at studios Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures, with character designs by Sayaka Ono (BASTARD!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-) and music by Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia).
Crunchyroll will stream the anime as it airs in Japan and describes the story:
A hard-working boy named Will enters a magic academy in hopes of becoming a great sorcerer. Unfortunately, there’s a fatal flaw in his plan: he lacks the ability to use magic.
