The movie ranked ninth in Its 18th weekend, and its cumulative total revenue has surpassed 11 billion yen (69,79 million USD) on 76.71 million admissions. Now it has become the 35th top-grossing film of all-time ever released in Japan, surpassing The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire (2005).

RABBITS KINGDOM THE MOVIE, an all-new feature film from the Tsukiuta anime franchise, opened in 108 theaters on June 14, making its 10th place debut.A Few Moments of Cheers, an original anime film directed by Popurika (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie ending) on a screenplay by Jukki Hanada (Love Live! ), also opened in Japan on June 14 but didn’t appear in the box office Top 10 in its first weekend. Meanwhile, the movie ranked second in Filmraks’ first-day satisfaction ranking with an average rating of 4.09/5.0 based on 331 reviews.
