The official website for voice actor Shoya Chiba (Kiyotaka Aayanokoji in Classroom of the Elite, Tetsuro Okino in BULLBUSTER) has announced that his first CD single “Contrail” is set to release in Japan on August 28, 2024, just one day before his 29th birthday. The lyrics of the title tune are written by himself.The news was also revealed in a special live-streaming on his official YouTube channel last night. During the streaming, he also announced that his first event as an artist, titled “SHOYA CHIBA 1st FAMILY SESSION,” is set to be held at EX THEATER ROPPONGI in Tokyo on October 26, 2024, and a serial numbers to apply for ticket is enclosed in each edition of the single.

Chiba started his career as child actor in 2004 and joined the voice actor agency SIGMA SEVEN E in 2014 to focus on voice acting activities. While singing many character songs, he made his solo artist debut from KING AMUSEMENT CREATIVE under his own name with his first EP “Blessing” in January 2024.His next live-streaming to reveal more info on the single is set to begin on July 19 at 20:30 (JST).
