Ahead of a July 3 premiere in Japan, the official website and accounts for the Japanese dub of Chinese donghua The Girl Downstairs today revealed the second of three heroine trailers highlighting the romantic drama series’ main female characters.
Following last week’s spotlight of ex-idol Mio Katsuragi, the bright Makoto Momoi (voiced by Rumi Okubo) takes her turn below.
First streamed on bilibili in April 2023 and currently spanning 22 episodes, The Girl Downstairs donghua was produced at RED DOG CULTURE HOUSE with direction from Dong Yi. Min Songa’s original comic is available on WEBTOON, which descibes the story:
