The official website for the BLUELOCK stage play adaptation released a key visual today for its upcoming third show, BLUELOCK -3rd STAGE-. The visual features the play’s eight main cast members, including Ryohei Takenaka, who reprises his role as the protagonist Yoichi Isagi, for the third time.
Additionally, the following seven new cast members were also announced:
Rin Itoshi played by Ryo Kusach
Ryusei Shido played by Gaku Matsuda
Yo Hiori played by Kairi Miura
Tabito Karasu played by Yuya Uno
Nijiro Nanase played by Kaisei Abe
Eita Otoya played by Kento
Kenyu Yukimiya played by Kosuke Asuma
The first stage play series was performed in May 2023, with the second show following in January 2024. The third show, BLUELOCK -3rd STAGE-. is set to open at the Higashiosaka Cultural Creation Hall’s Dream House Main Hall in Osaka from August 9 to 12, 2024, then opening at the Theater H in Tokyo from August 17 to 25, 2024. Naohiro Ise (Tokyo Revengers stage play series), the first two shows’ writer and director, is confirmed to return. Ticket pre-sale is available on e-Plus until June 30.A digest video of the second show’s Blu-ray is now streaming on the play’s official YouTube channel. The disc will be available in Japan on June 26, 2024.
