Following the broadcast of the third season’s penultimate episode in Japan, the official website and accounts for the Sound! Euphonium anime unveiled a brand-new story visual captioned “Seishun no Kachi-hen” (“The Value of Youth Arc”), depicting a familiar starlit view behind an emotional Reina and Kumiko.

Based on the novels by Ayano Takeda, Tatsuya Ishihara (Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions) directs the third season of Sound! Euphonium at studio Kyoto Animation, with series composition by Jukki Hanada (Love Live! Superstar!!), character designs by Kazumi Ikeda and Shoko Ikeda and music by Akito Matsuda (Unnamed Memory).

Spring in the first year of high school. Kumiko, a member of the brass band in junior high school, visits the high school brass band club with classmates Hazuki and Sapphire. There, she comes across Reina, her former classmate from junior high. Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko can’t make up her mind. She recollects her experience with Reina at a competition in junior high school.
