There’s still a little over four months left until the hotly anticipated second season of BLUE LOCK debuts in October 2024, but the anime’s trademark intensity remains high in a new teaser visual unveiled today.

Two additional cast members were also announced: Eiji Mikami joins the team as Yo Hiori, alongside Kakeru Hatano as Nanase Nijiro.

Based on the award-winning manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, Tetsuaki Watanabe (Haikyu!! episode director) directed BLUE LOCK and assistant-directed by Shunsuke Ishikawa (Sword Art Online Alicization episode director) at studio eightbit (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime). Ishikawa acts as director for the -EPISODE NAGI- movie.
