Pre-orders for the $49.99 digital release will open on the Nintendo eShop starting July 4, and a 10 percent pre-order discount will be available through July 31. The physical edition, pictured below, is up for pre-order via Play-Asia right now, packing the game in a collector’s box with a manual, soundtrack CD, art book, sticker sheet and numbered certificate.
Here’s how Eastasiasoft describes it:
Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom is a visual novel adventure centered around heroine Chizuru Yukimura and the handsome legendary warriors of the Shinsengumi. Players guide Chizuru’s decisions and romances during a time of great conflict in Japan, near the end of the feudal era when fighting was fierce and love was fleeting. This compilation covers two interconnected tales beloved to long-time fans of the acclaimed otome series, while also offering a perfect jumping-on point for players who might never have experienced Hakuoki’s beautiful storytelling. This Nintendo Switch release also includes revisions to improve English localization based on feedback from the dedicated fanbase.
