Ahead of the film’s June 14 theatrical release in Japan, the official accounts for A Few Moments of Cheers today released a three-minute preview clip that highlights Kanata Asaya, voiced by Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba), and his passionate process for creating music videos.
With an original screenplay by Jukki Hanada (Sound! Euphonium, Love Live! Superstar!!), Popurika (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie ED) directs A Few Moments of Cheers alongside assistant-director Ohajiki at studios Hurray! and 100studio, with art direction by Magotsuki and song compositions by VIVI.
Set in Ishikawa Prefecture, the story follows Kanata, a high school boy who becomes inspired to create music videos after watching a live street performance by Yu, a teacher who had given up on a career in music.
