All good things must come to an end. After making a striking return to our screens in October 2022, Lum and the Urusei Yatsura anime reboot will officially begin packing it up from next week’s episode releasing on May 30.
A ‘final chapter’ visual was unveiled today ahead of the series’ remaining four episodes, along with three additional cast members.

Hideya Takahashi (Keijo!!!!!!!! director) helms the series as director alongside Yasuhiro Kimura (2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team) with character designs by Naoyuki Asano (Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!) and series compositions written by Yuko Kakihara (The aquatope on white sand). The animation is being produced at david production.
Urusei Yatsura is airing on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block over four parts, with the first two airing consecutively from October 2022 to March 2023, adapting certain all-star stories from the original manga.
