After the moving Gundam in Yokohama was torn down earlier this year, it was rumored that the monstrous mech would be set up somewhere else and today we got that confirmation. Though it will be staying still, parts from the RX-78F00 will be reused for the new Gundam which will be pointing up to the sky as seen in the above teaser poster. The new Gundam will be set up at the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka from April 2025. Even though it will be kneeling down, the mech will still be around 17 meters tall.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Mobile Fighter G Gundam series, a new side story will be released from series director Yasuhiro Imagawa. The side story plans were first unveiled in April, and now we have a few more details and a new anime-based poster for the spin-off text series.
Mobile Fighter G Gundam Gaiden: Tenchi Tenkaku will be released on the official website for G Gundam from July 5.
