Ahead of The Magical Girl and The Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies anime’s debut on July 9, a collab visual between the upcoming fantasy romance series and late creator Cocoa Fujiwara’s other well-known manga, Inu X Boku Secret Service, was unveiled today.
The visual depicts main couples Mira and Byakuya and Ririchiyo and Soushi, illustrated by the character designer for the anime adaptations of both works, Haruko Iizuka.

Based on the manga by Cocoa Fujiwara, Akiyo Ohashi (The Stranger by the Shore) directs The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies at studio Bones, with series composition by Yuniko Ayana (given), character designs by Haruko Iizuka (Sugar Apple Fairy Tale) and music by MAYUKO (Ranking of Kings).
Yen Press publishes an official English version of the original manga and describes the story:
