While the global version of the Tales of the Rays mobile game only lasted from July 2017 to May 2018, the Japanese version has been kicking around steadily since February 28, 2017. Now, after a solid seven years of operation, service will officially come to an end in Japan on July 23, 2024.Bandai Namco made the announcement today, bringing an end to in-game currency sales. Sales of the full voice pack will end on June 20. At the same time as the end of the online version’s service on July 23, an offline version will launch for those who update to Version 7.0.0. Players who want to keep adventuring offline will need to complete the transition—which includes clearing the tutorial while online service is still active—by October 22.
In the meantime, players in Japan can look forward to enjoying a special 2,703 Days Thank You Finale Campaign that will take them through to the game’s final scenario. There’s also a two-volume Memorial Book on the way this fall. Source: Official Blog
