GC Novels, a light novel label published by Japanese publisher Micro Magazine, celebrates its 10th-anniversary this year, 2024. A special website was opened on May 20 to commemorate the anniversary.GC Novels was launched by Micro Magazine in 2014 and has published a number of web-based novel series, including That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime by Fuse, Berserk of Gluttony by Ichika Isshiki She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man by Hirotsugu Ryusen, The Great Cleric by Broccoli Lion, and Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games Is Tough for Mobs by Yomu Mishima. Each of those series is introduced in the 10th-anniversary memorial trailer, featured below.
Additionally, two celebratory illustrations were released on the anniversary website: one by That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime novel illustrator Mitz Vah, and another by Reincarnated as a Sword novel illustrator Llo.
As part of the 10th-anniversary project, Micro Magazine’s official YouTube channel will host a special live stream on Sunday, June 23, at 18:00 (JST). The program will feature many guests and look back on the label’s past 10 years, as well as some new information announced for the first time.
