Toei Animation’s long-running Precure franchise will finally air 1,000th episode with the upcoming broadcast of Wonderful Precure! Episode 18 set to air in Japan on June 2, 2024. To commemorate the milestone, a collaboration project between the Precure franchise and three Japanese girl idol groups — Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, BEYOOOOONDS, and ≠ME — launched today on May 27. The “Dance Collaboration Movie,” where the three groups perform a total of six Precure theme songs, will stream on the Precure franchise’s official YouTube channel for six days in a row. A new clip will stream at 6:00 a.m. (JST) on each day.The project’s first clip, “Wonderful Precure! evolution!!” (Wonderful Precure! opening theme) performed by the members of Shiristu Ebisu Chugaku, is now available on YouTube. After the dance performance with Cure Wonderful, the members talk about their childhood memories with the Precure franchise.
