Earlier this year, it was announced that the original Fate/stay night visual novel would be getting a remastered version—and with it, the first official English-language release. Today, the game that launched a media juggernaut has shared new art in honor of the upcoming remaster.
The new art is penned by Takashi Takeuchi, co-founder of TYPE-MOON and regular artist across the Fate series:
The upcoming remaster will be based on the 2012 Realta Nua version, originally released for the PlayStation Vita.
The remastered version of the game will be released on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam sometime in 2024 with the aforementioned English language option, as well as a newly announced Simplified Chinese language option, ostensibly to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original release of Fate stay/night on PC in Japan this year.
