Voice Actor Tasuku Hatanaka Releases 9th Single “It’s time to fly!” Music Video

The official YouTube channel for voice actor Tasuku Hatanaka (Denki Kaminari in My Hero Academia, Taiga Kagami in KING OF PRISM) has started streaming a short version music video for his upcoming ninth CD single song “It’s time to fly!.”The theme of his first self-produced single is “Journey,” and it is filled with what Hatanaka, who turns 30 this year, is feeling now and the music he wants to challenge himself with. In addition, Hatanaka himself wrote the lyrics for the title track, “It’s time to fly!.” The CD single is set to release in Japan on July 17, 2024.

Additionally, a special event to celebrate his 30th birthday and the release of his ninth CD single, titled “TASUKU HATANAKA 30th Birthday & 9th Single Release Party -It’s time to fly!-,” is set to be held at Zepp Yokohama on August 18. The first half is a variety segment with guests, while the second half features a live performance by Hatanaka himself. The guest voice actors for the afternoon part is Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro in JUJUTSU KAISEN), while that for the evening part is Chikahiro Kobayashi (Saichi Sugimoto in Golden Kamuy), both share close relationships with Hatanaka. Ticket pre-orders have been available on ePlus since May 11.
