Ahead of a July 2024 broadcast, the official website and accounts for the upcoming Wistoria: Wand and Sword anime today announced the casting of Tomokazu Seki and Koji Yusa as Ligarden Magic Academy instructors Workner Norgram and Edward Serfence, respectively, while also unveiling an overall character trailer for the fantasy series.
A character setting for Will’s roommate, Rosty Nowman, was also shared.

Based on the manga by Fujino Omori and Toshi Aoi, Wistoria: Wand and Sword is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara (Black Clover), who also serves as series composer, at studios Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures, with character designs by Sayaka Ono (BASTARD!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-) and music by Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia).
Crunchyroll will stream the anime as it airs in Japan and describes the story:
