Voice actor Nagisa Aoyama, best known as Ren Hazuki in the Love Live! Superstar!! series, made her singer debut today, May 16, with the release of her first digital single “Kaihou” (Liberation). The song’s music video is now also streamed on her official YouTube channel.The lyrics of the song were written by Aoyama herself, while Yasuhiro Obata, who has been working on various unit and solo songs for Love Live! Superstar!!, served as composer. Aoyama says, “The lyrics express the struggles and true feelings of those moments when you release the emotions that you have kept hidden inside your heart for a long time. We are very particular about details such as costumes and music videos, so we hope you will enjoy it with your eyes and ears.”

Nagisa Aoyama was born in Tokyo on May 16, 1998. In December 2020, she made her voice actor debut as Ren Hazuki in Love Live! Super Star!!, and has also been active as a member of the anime’s voice actor unit, Liella!She has also played Ciel, the main character in the Synduality: Noir series since 2023, and has sung character songs for both Love Live! Superstar!! and Synduality: Noir, but this is the first time she has released an original song under her own name.
