Following the recent release on Nintendo Switch, more platforms are about to get the Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! game. North American and European launches are on the way to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam on July 16, 2024.Those who pre-order digitally prior to launch will get the base game and a set of four stamps—used for in-game player communication—featuring Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke. Pre-orders also come with three premium tickets that can be exchanged for in-game rewards.There are also physical editions on the way to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.Kanao Tsuyuri, pictured below, will be added to the game in a free update this summer alongside Genya Shinazugawa.
Based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba TV anime is available to stream on Crunchyroll. Here’s the official series synopsis:
It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.
Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.
