Last month, it was announced that the LINE manga Marui Shoujo to Zannen na Kareshi would be adapted into a “light anime.” Today, we get a new look at the upcoming series with the release of a new trailer and key visual.The trailer features voiced by Sora Tokui as Mariko Hosoi and Atsushi Tamaru as her new significant other, Nagi Kirigaya. News about the show’s theme songs has also been released. South Korean singer KyoungSeo will perform the show’s opening theme, titled “Unmei-sen de Dakishimete.” Voice actor and singer Ayaka Ohashi will sing the show’s ending theme, “Oishii SERENADE.”The upcoming production will be one of many new “light anime” produced as a joint venture between Dai Nippon Printing and Imagika Foss: limited-animation productions using web manga elements.Marui Kanojo to Zannen na Kareshi is scheduled to premiere in Japan on June 7.
