Makina-san!! ecchi rom-com manga is in production for a planned 2025 broadcast. A teaser visual was also revealed.Additional details about the project, such as staff and cast, were not announced at the time of reporting.
Sato began the manga in Futabasha’s Monthly Action magazine in October 2022. After the magazine’s shutdown in February 2024, the series moved to Web Comic Action. Three manga volumes have released in Japan to date. Sato previously authored the manga Crossing Time from 2016 to 2021, with the series adapted into a TV anime series in 2018.The story of Kakushite! Makina-san!! follows Eita, a reclusive mecha nerd whose life changes gear when he finds the most popular girl in school, Makina, on his doorstep and in need of…fixing? Despite his timid nature, he keeps her identity as a high-spec android designed for pleasure a secret when she needs troubleshooting.
