The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Sui Futami’s fantasy manga series Dungeon People announced four additional voice cast members today.
Rangardo played by Naomi Kusumi (Akisada Izumi in Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie)
A dwarf in charge of the lower levels of the dungeon. He is a blacksmith who manages treasure chests and items, crafts weapons, and is also the site supervisor for the golems.
Sendai (The Predecessor) played by Nobuo Tobita (Kamille Bidan in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam)– The dungeon master who preceded Belle. He created the dungeon, originally considered a supernatural phenomenon, from scratch and had Belle take over its management.
Renfringe played by Hochu Otsuka (Jiraiya in Naruto)– Guildmaster of the Thief Guild in Antmorg. Despite his mild-mannered appearance, he is a former assassin.
Fuurin played by M・A・O (Saki Kirishima in The Yuzuki Family’s Four Sons)– An assitant to teh guildmaster of the Thief Guild in Antmorg.
The TV anime Dungeon People is set to premiere in Japan in July 2024. Sayaka Senbongi (Mume in Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) is cast as one of the two protagonists, Clay, while Sayumi Suzushiro (Rina in The Unwanted Undead Adventurer) as another protagonist, Belle. Sayaka Yamai (Life with an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout) serves as director at OLM.Seven Seas Entertainment, which publishes the manga’s official English version, describes the series:
An unexplored dungeon, filled with monsters and traps. An expert thief, searching for her lost father. When Clay delves into the dungeon deeper than any adventurer has ever gone, she is offered a job by the dungeon’s caretaker! Now, instead of exploring, Clay must learn how to interview new monsters, set traps and position slimes around the dungeon. Will this new career path bring her any closer to finding her father?
