Later this month, J-pop cover album [Re:collection] -Hit Song Covers feat. Voice Actors- 2 will release 30 new covers of classic songs as performed by your favorite anime voice actors. Today, the seiyuu are tuning up with a new medley video, covering tracks from the final third of the collection.The release is actually three albums released simultaneously—80s to 90s, 90s to 00s, and 00s to 10s. Each will feature ten tracks performed by male voice actors from your favorite anime series. The third album features performances from Shogo Sakata (Aki Hayakawa in Chainsaw Man), Kohei Amasaki (Otto Suwen in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-), Gakuto Kajiwara (Shinra Kusakabe in Fire Force), and many more.Have a listen:
The three albums go on sale May 29. Additionally, thirteen of the vocalists from the new collection will perform their songs live in concert on January 19, 2025 at Tokyo’s Zepp Haneda.
