The official YouTube channel for Japanese singer-songwriter KanoeRana has started streaming a music video for her fifth CD single song “Irodori,” which is now featured as the opening theme for the spring 2024 TV anime Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night.KanoeRana made her professional singer debut in August 2016 and has released three CD singles, 12 digital singles, three mini-albums, and five full albums. She previously provided theme songs for Eien no 831 in 2022, and for In/Spectre, Tearmoon Empire, and Helck in 2023.Prior to the CD release on May 22, “Irodori” released on digital platforms on April 5. The music video featuring KanoeRana herself as well as model/actor Fuuka Yokoshima is interspersed with scenes reminiscent of the anime’s story and her past clips.
