JUJUTSU KAISEN is set to tread down memory lane in June with special merch drops and new visuals for the currently adapted anime arcs but with a special chronological twist.
Starting June 1, the first campaign will look at the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, with a new visual featuring the teenage incarnations of our lovable adults.
The visual features (in order, left to right) Nanami, Gojo, Shoko, Yu and Suguru
Merchandise based on the visual, which was inspired by a shot from the ending animation of the arc, includes badges, mini shikishi and acrylic stands of each of the characters.
The next drop will be going in chronological order story-wise and will feature a new visual based on the JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 anime film in mid-August and finally goods based on the Shibuya Incident arc from late October, just in time for Halloween.
The Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc goods will be available from mid-July at the TOHO animation STORE with pre-orders starting May 16.
The JUJUTSU KAISEN anime returned for its second season on July 6, 2023, and ended on December 28. Crunchyroll is streaming both seasons of the MAPPA-produced anime alongside the anime film JUJUTSU KAISEN 0. A sequel series in production. Crunchyroll describes the series:
Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
