EGUMI LEGACY, a card game featuring original characters created by voice actor Takuya Eguchi, is being adapted into a work of animation. Although the exact format and release window for the adaptation have not yet been revealed, a special video and key visual (below) have been revealed along with the main staff and cast.
Masa Mori directs EGUMI LEGACY at Studio Outrigger, and Mori also provides the scripts along with co-writer Katsuya Kitano. 81 Produce provides production assistance. In addition to creating the original characters for the series, voice actor Takuya Eguchi (Loid Forger in SPY x FAMILY) is the sole cast member listed.

The story of EGUMI LEGACY is set on the remote island of Egu, where the inhabitants sole means of entertainment comes from listening to the beautiful singing voice of the diva known as “End of the World”. However, the sudden disappearance of End of the World plunges Egu Island into a whirlpool of anger, anxiety, and suspicion as the residents begin to scheme and set their own plans into motion. Against this backdrop, the legendary “Egumi Legacy” holds the key to finding End of the World and putting an end to “The Great Licking War”.
