Back when the original Person 3 game was released in Japan in 2006, a spin-off game Persona 3 Aigis THE FIRST MISSION was released for feature phones in 2007 focusing on Aigis in 1999 on Yakushima and fleshing out the party member’s backstory. Now, that feature phone game is getting a port to the Nintendo Switch and Steam thanks to G-MODE Archives, bringing the pre-smartphone era phone game to current generation gaming systems.
Persona 3 Aigis THE FIRST MISSION is a 3D action top-down RPG made for feature phones with elements from the original Persona game, including Aigis’ persona and the leveling-up system, as well as having to defeat shadows.

No date for Persona 3 Aigis THE FIRST MISSION has been announced at this stage and the Steam page only notes that the game will be in Japanese with no English support. The story of the game is as such:
The setting of this work is Yakushima, 10 years before the main story “Persona 3”. In addition to the original characters of this work, characters that appeared in the main story will also appear and color the story.
