Superhero fans are in for a treat, because the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai franchises are teaming up for a summer movie double-feature, tentatively titled Kamen Rider THE SUMMER MOVIE 2024 / Kamen Rider Gotchard & Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger. The film hits theaters in Japan on July 26, 2024.

Kamen Rider Gotchard is 34th installment in the Kamen Rider series and the 5th Kamen Rider series produced in the Reiwa era, while Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger is the 48th installment in the Super Sentai series and also the 5th Super Sentai series produced in the Reiwa era.
The new film features regular cast members Junsei Motojima, Reiyo Matsumoto, Yasunari Fujibayashi, Oto Abe, Rikiya Tomizono, and Rikuto Kumaki (from Kamen Rider Gotchard) and Haruhi Iuchi, Yuki Hayama, Suzuki Miu, Ryu Saito, and Satoru Soma (from Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger) reprising their roles.
