Japanese record company Nippon Columbia’s official YouTube channel started streaming lyric videos for the opening and ending themes for the new third season of the TV anime KONOSUBA -God’s blessing on this wonderful world! The opening theme, “Growing Up” is performed by anisong singer Machico, who has worked on all opening theme songs for the KONOSUBA franchise since the first season in 2016. “Growing Up” released in Japan as her 10th CD single on April 10, 2024, ranking 24th in Oricon’s weekly single charts in its first week.

Meanwhile, the ending theme “Ano Hi no Mamano Bokura” (We that are exactly as we were on that day) is performed by the anime’s three main female voice cast members — Sora Amamiya as Aqua, Rie Takahashi as Megumin, and Ai Kayano as Darkness. The three previously performed the ending theme songs for the past two seasons. The CD single released in Japan on the same day as the opening theme, ranking 48th in Oricon’s weekly single charts.

Based on the light novels by Natsume Akatsuki and Kurone Mishima, series director Takaomi Kanasaki acts as Chief Director for the third season of KONOSUBA, with Yujiro Abe (Kaguya-sama: Love is War episode director) also directing at studio Drive (VLAD LOVE). Makoto Uezu and Koichi Kikuta also return as series composition writer and character designer, respectively.
