The alien adventures of the Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction anime films, based on manga artist Inio Asano’s (Solanin, Downfall) work of the same name, enters its final phase in the second film of the duology next month. To give people a taste of the continuing story, a brand new main trailer for the second part of Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction was released today. Warning, there may be some spoilers for the first film!As previously reported, the first teaser trailer originally announced the next film will depict an original ending, which the new trailer also confirms.
Tomoyuki Kurokawa directs the two Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction movies at Production +h with a script by Reiko Yoshida and anime character designs from Nobutaka Ito. The first film premiered in Japan on March 22 with the second part set to premiere on May 24.As Inio Asano’s fourth serialized work, Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction ran for 100 chapters in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits magazine from 2014 to 2022, then compiled into 12 collected volumes.VIZ Media, who publishes the manga’s official English version, describes the series:
