Earlier this year, it was announced that an orchestra concert would be held this summer featuring the music from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. Today, the celebrated fantasy anime has released the key art for the upcoming musical event.
The artwork was penned by Mebachi, the series’s official chibi character designer, and features Frieren, Fern, and Stark:
Additionally, it’s been confirmed that the anime’s official soundtrack will be released tomorrow, April 17. The album will be released both in physical format and on various streaming services, and physical copies will include an application ticket for advance concert ticket sales.
The orchestra concert will feature composer Evan Call’s music for the series performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, with footage from the anime playing in the background. Singer/songwriter milet will also be onstage to perform the show’s ending theme, “Anytime Anywhere.”
The Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Orchestra Concert will take place August 21 at Pacifico Yokohama National Hall, Kanagawa.
