Ganbatte Ikimasshoi (“Give It All”), an upcoming 3DCG theatrical anime film based on the award-winning 1996 novel by Yoshiko Shikimura, has published a new “special navigation” trailer narrated by movie commentator LiLiCo. The film hits theaters in Japan on October 25, 2024.
The original Ganbatte Ikimasshoi novel is published in Japan by Gentosha under their Gentosha Bunko imprint. Yuhei Sakuragi directs the film at Studi Moe and REIRS. Yuhei Sakuragi and Keiichiro Ochi and provide the script, while Asako Nishida provides the character designs. Ganbatte Ikimasshoi has previously been adapted into a live-action film in 1998 and a live-action TV drama in 2005.

Set in Matsuyama City in Ehime Prefecture, the story of Ganbatte Ikimasshoi follows the trials and tribulations of five girls who come together as members of their high school’s competitive rowing team.
