Voice actor Teru Ikuta, best known as Natalia in THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS and Futaba Isurugi in Revue Starlight, will release her first photo book from Imagica Infos in the early fall of 2024. She announced the news directly to her fans at the “Teru Ikuta Birthday Event 2024” held at LIVE STUDIO LODGE in Tokyo on April 14. In 2015, she was selected as one of 21 successful candidates out of 1,474 in an audition for the stage “Transfer Student” directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro (PSYCHO-PASS) and began her acting career. Then in 2018, she made her voice acting debut as Futaba Isurugi in Revue Starlight.
“I was really happy when my photo book got the green light!” she said. “It was a very enjoyable time for me to think about ‘What kind of photo book should I make?’ and ‘What kind of book is unique to me?’ When I told the first idea that came to mind to the editor in charge, he said, ‘That’s a great idea!’ And from there, we worked together to develop a variety of ideas. I have a feeling that this will be the kind of book that only Teru Ikuta can produce. I hope it will be a great book that many people will pick up! Filming is still scheduled to start in the near future, so I will do my best with the help of the staff and everyone who supports and cheers me on! Please check it out!”
The photo book is edited and produced by Seiyu Grand Prix (published by Imagica Infos), a voice actor magazine with a 29-year history since its first issue. Details will be announced later.
She also wrote on Twitter: “And ‘Teru Ikuta 1st photo book’ will be released in the fall of 2024! It all thanks to all of you who always support me, so thank you very much! I will make it the best book filled with my unique personality!”
