Following the broadcast of the third season’s second episode in Japan, the official accounts for sci-fi anime The Irregular at Magic High School released a creditless version of its latest ending theme sequence featuring “recall” by Kairi Yagi (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song- OP).
Animation director Jimmy Stone, who previously worked on the anime in various capacities — including as an episode director, mechanical designer, key animator and more — takes up the helm as the series director at studio eightbit. Mueno Nakamoto will handle the screenplay, with Kana Ishida as Chief Animation Director and handling character designs. Taku Iwasaki will handle the music.

Based on the light novel by Tsutomu Sato, The irregular at magic high school is set in a world where magic exists but instead of using chants and spells, magic users cast spells with their Casting Assistant Device (CAD). The CAD is infused with the user’s Psions (a substance-less thought particle) that activates the device and constructs the magic ritual.
