Ahead of its second episode airing tonight in Japan, the official accounts for the delinquent action anime WIND BREAKER released a creditless version of the series’ opening theme sequence, featuring “Zettai Reido” (“Absolute Zero”) by natori and the strong comradery of Furin High School students.
Based on the manga by Satoru Nii, Toshifumi Akai (Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia) directs the WIND BREAKER anime at studio CloverWorks, with series composition by Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man), character designs by Taishi Kawakami and music by Ryo Takahashi (SK8 the Infinity).Crunchyroll is simulcasting the series and describes the story:
Welcome to Furin High School, an institution infamous for its population of brawny brutes who solve every conflict with a show of strength. Some of the students even formed a group, Bofurin, which protects the town. Haruka Sakura, a first-year student who moved in from out of town, is only interested in one thing: fighting his way to the top.
