The official YouTube channel for voice actor/singer Shouta Aoi (Louis Kisaragi in KING OF PRISM, Geordo Stuart in My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) has started streaming a music video for his latest digital single song, “EVOLVE.” The rock tune is now featured as the opening theme for the spring 2024 TV anime The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases, in which he is also cast as its protagonist, Allen.”EVOLVE” released digitally on March 29. “In my mind, the theme of this new song is ‘Beyond’,” Aoi said in a recent interview with News Post Seven. “The song expresses the excitement of wondering what the future holds beyond the present with a fast-paced melody. For the past ten years, I have been seeking what others are not doing. The authentic way is important, but it is meaningless to be Shouta Aoi if that is all I do. I am able to challenge new things in this way because I have fans who warmly accept any kind of expression. “The music video shows various scenes with intense camera work, such as projecting lyrics onto his face and body, and scenes shot with body cameras along the sea and in the middle of downtown.
