Tetsuya Kakihara (Natsu): “It was said it’ll happen one day, but now it finally is: FAIRY TAIL. Well then, let’s go on another adventure together!”Aya Hirano (Lucy): “I’ve been looking forward to the 100 Years Quest anime ever since it was announced. Everyone can finally see Natsu and his friends go off on another adventure. It’s been a while since the last series ended, but we all settled back into recording together as a team and that guild-like atmosphere as if no time had passed. It felt like I’d come home.

Don’t miss the evolution of Fairy Tail!”Rie Kugimiya (Happy): “I’m Rie Kugimiya, and I will continue to voice Happy in Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest. Getting to return with people I have such fond memories with fills me with joy. We’ll all do our best to make sure everyone enjoys themselves, so please look forward to it!”Yuichi Nakamura (Gray): “It’s been a few years since the manga and anime series ended…

I’ve been thinking about how I only get the chance to voice Gray in games and collaborations. Now I’m embarking on another anime adventure with old friends. We have our own kind of guild behind the scenes of Fairy Tail, so all the staff will likewise be pushing forward as one.”Sayaka Ohara (Erza): “The everyday lives and adeventures of Natsu and friends begins once more, and I get to be a part of that world as Erza. Just thinking about it makes my chest tremble with delight and excitement. The new cast and characters are also absolutely magnificent! Please look forward to it—♪”Satomi Sato (Wendy): “When I was reading the original manga, I kept thinking, ‘Huh?! Did they just do that?!’ and ‘I never expected this to happen…!’. The story is so exciting in how it goes beyond my imagination, and I’m thrilled that I can deliver that as Wendy in the anime. It looks to be another fun adventure, so get pumped for Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest this July!”Yui Horie (Carla): “I am Yui Horie and I play Carla. I’m glad to be back as Carla after all this time, but I was also quite nervous before I heard the rest of the Fairy Tail cast and instantly settled back in. It felt like no time passed at all!

Whether you’re a new face or an old one, I hope you enjoy it ♪”

Based on the sequel manga by Hiro Mashima and Atsuo Ueda, Toshinori Watabe (EDENS ZERO Season 2) will direct Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest under the supervision of past series director Shinji Ishihira at studio J.C.STAFF, with series composition by Shoji Hata (Fairy Tail scriptwriter) and character designs by Yurika Sako (EDENS ZERO).Kodansha USA publishes an official English version of the manga and describes the story:

And they’ve decided to tackle the “100 Years Quest”—a job no one’s dared take on since the founding of the guild more than a century ago. A mysterious town, a baffling spirit, a ghastly new enemy…and a brand new continent to explore. When you’re with real friends, the adventures never stop!
