The official YouTube channel for anisong singer LiSA has started streaming a music video for her 21st CD single song, “Shouted Serenade.” As her first CD single in two years and six months, it is set to release in Japan on May 22, 2024. Prior to the CD release, the title track released digitally first on April 6.The rock tune is now featured as the opening theme for the third season of The Irregular at Magic High School TV anime. She previously sang the opening theme for the first cour of the TV anime first season in 2014, “Rising Hope” and this is the first time in about three years that LiSA sings a theme song for a TV anime series since “Akeboshi/ Shirogane,” the opening and ending theme songs for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc in 2021.The music video was shot using the motion control camera BOLT, with LiSA moving in accordance with the pre-memorized camera movements. She describes the video: “Even though I’ve grown up more than back then, I still keep fighting, I still keep shouting to make this world happy that you and I will continue to live together. ‘Shouted Serenade,’ a song of screams. MUSiC CLiP is now available.”

The much-awaited third season of The Irregular at Magic High School TV anime premiered in Japan on April 5, 2024, and its first episode “Double Seven Part I” now streams on Crunchyroll for Premium members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS and India.The opening theme “Shouted Serenade” is featured in the anime’s latest trailer below.
