Mahjong Soul Kan!!, an upcoming web anime based on the Mahjong Soul video game, has revealed a new trailer, new information about its official theme song, and its streaming schedule. The series will stream on the official YouTube channel with new episodes published on Thursdays at 10:00pm JST beginning on April 25, 2024.
The official theme song for the series, entitled “Kankan Hime-hime” is performed in-character by Ichihime (voiced by Maaya Uchida), Miki Nikaido (voiced by Chiwa Saito), Kaguyahime (voiced by Mariya Ise), and Yui Yagi (voiced by Ami Koshimizu).
Kazuomi Koga writes and directs Mahjong Soul Kan!! at animation studio Alke with additional production by Yostar. Ayumi Kurokawa provides the character designs and Hinako Tsubakiyama provides the music.
