The fist episode of the TV anime adaptation of Haruichi Furudate’s volleyball-themed sports manga Haikyu!! aired in Japan 10 years ago today (JST) on April 6, 2014. To commemorate the 10th anniversary, the “Anime ‘Haikyu!! 10th Anniversary -Tsunagu- Project” has launched. In 2025, a “Finale Event” will be held to mark the climax of the project.The theme of the anniversary project is “Tsunagu (Connect)”. As a project to “connect” fans and the anime, the first two “Tsunagaru (Connecting) School Visuals,” which depict characters from major schools — Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama from Karasuno High, Kenma Kozume and Tetsuro Kuroo from Nekoma High — have been revealed.
Additionally, “Haikyu!! Anime 10th Anniversary Exhibition: Zen Kankaku (All Senses) EXHIBITION” will be held from July. The event will not only display materials, but also provide a realistic, hands-on experience of the world of the anime.Schedule:

Also, pre-orders for the 10th anniversary commemorative merchandise, such as tracksuits and uniforms by high school and banner face towels, will be accepted on TOHO animation STORE from 10:00 a.m. on April 6 (JST).
And, the Haikyu!! franchise’s official Twitter has posted a celebratory message and illustration from the manga author.Haruichi Furudate: “Congratulations to the anime Haikyu!! 10th anniversary! Thanks to the anime, I think there are so many people who have become aware of the appeal of volleyball. I really appreciate it.
