Netflix has released a main trailer for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Tsukasa Hojo’s City Hunter action comedy manga series.As with the teaser, the clip features the film’s ending theme song, “Get Wild Continual” by TM NETWORK, a new version of the TV anime’s iconic first ending theme, “Get Wild.” As the tenth single of the band, the original EP single of the song was released in Japan on April 8, 1987, so The Japan Anniversary Association officially recognized today, April 8 as “Get Wild Day” in 2023.

The new City Hunter live-action film is set in modern-day Shinjuku and filmed in the actual Shinjuku and Kabukicho areas with the full cooperation of Shinjuku City, the Shinjuku City Tourism Association, and the Kabukicho shopping district. Ryohei Suzuki is cast as the protagonist Ryo Saeba, while Misato Morita is cast as his partner Kaori Makimura. It will begin streaming on worldwide on Netflix on April 25, 2024.
