Overlord, the ongoing anime adaptation based on the series of dark fantasy isekai light novels, is continuing with a theatrical anime film entitled Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom which hits Japanese cinemas in fall 2024. Now the series has released a seven-minute digest video that looks back at the events of Seasons 1 – 4 of the TV anime.
The original Overlord light novels are written by Kugane Maruyama, illustrated by so-bin and published in Japan by Entertain. An English language version is also available from Yen Press. Naoyuki Ito directs the anime adaptation at animation studio MADHOUSE.
