An official website opened today announced that a TV anime adaptation of Mikito Chinen’s Ameku Takao’s Detective Karte (Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte) medical mystery novel series is currently in production, revealing a promo video and teaser visual in the process.

First published in 2014 and later adapted into a manga by Hiroki Ohara, the story of Ameku Takao’s Detective Karte follows a super intelligent doctor working in Tenikai General Hospital’s general diagnosis department, tackling the unidentifiable ailments of patients and other mysteries brought before her keen eyes.
