Astro Note, an upcoming original TV anime, has revealed a new cast member for the series with voice actor Kujira (Orochimaru in Naruto) joining the cast as Oba-chan (“Auntie”), an older lady with a boisterous and gossipy personality who loves to chat with (and about) her neighbors. A new key visual was also released featuring the character.

Shinji Takamatsu and Haruki Kasugamori direct Astro Note at animation studio Telecom Animation Film. Kimiko Ueno provides the series composition, Maho Aoki provides the character designs (based on original character designs by Eisaku Kubonouchi), and Kohei Munemoto provides the music.Astro Note begins broadcasting in Japan on April 5, 2024, and it will also stream on Crunchyroll as part of the spring 2024 anime simulcast lineup.
