While others are commemorating April Fools’ Day or an upcoming anniversary, upcoming delinquent anime WIND BREAKER is today celebrating protagonist Haruka Sakura’s birthday on April 1 with a special illustration drawn by Akiko Takase (Violet Evergarden character designer).
Additional birthday illustrations are planned for the future, while the series itself will begin airing in Japan on April 4.

Based on the manga by Satoru Nii, WIND BREAKER is directed by Toshifumi Akai (Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia) at studio CloverWorks, with series composition by Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man), character designs by Taishi Kawakami and music by Ryo Takahashi (SK8 the Infinity).
