Are you ready for New Game+? Because after today’s Shangri-La Frontier anime finale aired in Japan, it was officially announced that a second season is in the works! Furthermore, the sequel will be another continuous two cours and will begin airing this October, with Crunchyroll confirmed to stream.

Based on the manga by Ryosuke Fuji, Shangri-La Frontier is directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka (Handyman Saitou in Another World) at studio C2C, with series composition by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), character designs by Ayumi Kurashima (Devilman Crybaby) and music by MONACA (NieR:Automata Ver1.1a).
