The official YouTube channel for voice actor/singer Ai Furihata has started streaming a music video for her third CD single song “Hohoemi no Oto” (The Sound of A Smile), The pop tune is now featured as the opening theme for the spring 2024 original TV anime Astro Note. Furihata is best known as Ruby Kurosawa in Love Live! Sunshine!! and is also playing Teruko Matsubara, one of the main characters Astro Note.The song was composed and arranged by Akimitsu Honma, who has produced songs for Porno Graffitti and Ikimonogakari, and the lyrics were written by Yukinojo Mori, who has written many pop and anime songs in the Showa era, as well as hits for rock artists such as Tomoyasu Hotei.

The CD single of “Hohoemi no Oto” is set to release in Japan on May 29, 2024/ Ahead of the CD release, the title tune released digitally on April 6.
